It is after long and inspiring research that this project came to my mind. The fascination for these creatures, sometimes immortal, grows the more you learn about them. The diversity in form and pattern is infinite and many artists such as Ernst Haeckel have magnified it.

 

To succeed in illustrating the transparency of this creature with an opaque paper was a real challenge but I found an intricate pattern that allows light to pass through.
